Church Windows Smashed In Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG – Police are looking for a man who smashed the windows of the Williamsburg Spanish Church yesterday evening.

A man wielding a bat approached the doors of the church, then struck them six times, surveillance video reveals. The incident took place at approximately 7:25pm on Wednesday, August 16, said police.

The individual is described as a Hispanic male with dark hair and a mustache. In the video, he is seen wearing a teal tank top, dark colored shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
