That sweet and woody scent fills the air as Christmas tree sites pop up around the neighborhood, and with really nice trees in a variety of types and sizes at almost every spot we’ve passed by so far, your best bet may be just picking the location closest to you (though there’s also an option for delivery that’s hard to beat). It looks like all the familiar spots are back up and running already, so here are just a few we’ve spotted:
8th Avenue & 8th Street
Foley Firs is back with trees, wreaths, tree stands, and more on weekdays 1-9pm, weekends 10am-10pm. Plus, part of the purchase price will go to benefit the local public school of your choice. And because that’s not enough, you can also get your tree delivered — an you can even order it online.
Outside CVS, 9th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues
Once again, these guys will be here 24/7 until Christmas.
All Saints Church 7th Avenue & 7th Street
Outside the Coop, Union Street between 7th & 6th Avenues
Both sites from Adam Parke, who brings organic, pesticide-free trees (and delicious syrup!) down from his own Vermont farm to seven Brooklyn locations from 9am-9pm daily through Christmas.
Tarzian Hardware, 7th Avenue between 2nd & 3rd Streets
A good option for one-stop shopping, with trees, wreaths, garland, and plenty of the things you’ll need to decorate that tree, like strings of lights.
Former Garfield Farm Market, Garfield Place & 7th Avenue
The temporary pop-up will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until Christmas, selling trees, wreathes, garlands, poinsettias, bouquets, and more.
Outside Yogurtland, 7th Avenue & 3rd Street
They’ll be set up mostly daily through Christmas.
Old First Reformed Church, 7th Avenue & Carroll Street
All sales at this annual event benefit the parent-run co-op Old First Nursery School. Runs Saturdays and Sundays, 10am-7pm, until Christmas.
Outside Key Food, 5th Avenue & Sterling Place
They’ll be out there 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the holiday.
Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket
Trumansberg Tree Farm returns with trees and wreaths every Saturday 8am-4pm until December 20.
