Now here’s a collaboration we can get behind! Bored to Death duo Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson reunited recently to film Funny or Die sketch Mistaken for Strangers: The Play, based on the documentary chronicling the relationship between Tom Berninger and his brother Matt Berninger of Ditmas Park-based band The National.

“After I interviewed the President, I was looking for something different,” Zach explains in the clip. “I’d been offered another thing on Broadway–Shrek–but I had done Shrek off-Broadway and I was a little burned out on it to be honest… I wanted to play something a little bit more real with a little bit more emotion.”

“Mistaken for Strangers: The Play” has amassed over 67,000 views since its debut on Monday.
