Check Out Brokelyn’s Survey Of The Best Caribbean Food On Flatbush Avenue

We really liked Brokelyn writer William Widmaier’s recent piece on “The best of Flatbush Ave.’s deliciously cheap Caribbean food”.

Widmaier picks out five spots that all sound great and span the Caribbean:

• The Ultimate Bakery Shop (Haiti);
• La Cabana Rodriguez Restaurant (Dominican Republic);
• C & J Restaurant and Bakery (Jamaica);
• Jen’s Roti Shop (Trinidad); and
• Suzie Farm, a “produce market…[with]…a lot of good, cheap Caribbean products.”

So what’s missing from this list? Where would you take friends out in Flatbush for the best Caribbean food? And it doesn’t have to be on Flatbush Avenue.
