As many of you probably know, The Dad Beats are an awesome local band made up of, you guessed it, dads with a penchant for all things music. You’ve likely seen them play at spots throughout our fair borough, including frequently headlining at Lark Café or Greenwood Playground.

This Saturday, you’ll be able to see the “power quartet wrapped in a playdate with a hootenanny garnish” perform a free concert at the Windsor Terrace Library (160 E. 5th Street at Fort Hamilton Parkway) in honor of Take Your Child To The Library Day!

As the library posted, the “four real live Brooklyn dads” will “traverse surf, rock and country grooves to deliver playful re-imaginings of your childhood favorites.”

So, strap on some dancing shoes – on your kids and yourself! – and get out there to groove along with the Beats in celebration of our fantastic library.

For more information, you can visit The Dad Beats’ Facebook page or the Brooklyn Public Library’s website.
