Million Dollar Decision .jpg

The moment has arrived, District 39, to tell Councilmember Brad Lander how you want to spend $1 million dollars in our community.

Here in the Slope area, voting will take place on Saturday, April 5, from 10am to 7pm at the Old Stone House (336 3rd Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues), and on Sunday, April 6, from 10am to 5pm, at the Armory YMCA (361 15th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues).

There are 13 projects on the ballot this year, including repaving and repairing the basketball court at Ennis Playground (11th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues), street safety improvements on 4th Avenue (between 8th and 18th Streets), electronic bus location signs along the B67 and B69 routes, and the installation of security cameras around Prospect Park. You can find a breakdown of all the projects here.

Every District 39 resident ages 16 and older can fill out a ballot. Please bring something to verify your address to your polling location (piece of mail, drivers license, identification card, etc), and note that all voters may choose up to five projects on their ballot.
