Car Break-Ins Reported Near Westminster And Beverley Roads

A car parked near the corner of Beverley and Westminster Roads (south side of Beverley) had its driver’s-side window bashed in late Tuesday night, police said.

Curiously, nothing was removed from the 2015 Black Nissan Rogue, cops said.

A neighbor on the block told us another car on Westminster near Beverley had its driver’s side window “smashed to pieces” on the same night.

UPDATE: A reader also reported to us that there was a car break-in on Argyle Road between Beverley and Cortelyou Roads (closer to Beverley) on either Monday or Tuesday. The driver’s side window was smashed in and the air bag was stolen from the steering wheel, the reader said. [3/10/16, 2:45pm]
