Burglaries, Bank Robberies, and More Crime Reports

Above is the most recent CompStat report from the 70th Precinct, which covers the week of 6/25-7/1/12, and below is a roundup of some recent crimes around the neighborhood:

Picket Fence was burglarized early on Monday, July 9, after a man broke in through the back door and left with cash from the registers.

• Two people got into a fight over an alleged genital grab at a restaurant on Flatbush at Beverley, in which one broke a chair over the other’s back, on Monday, July 9, reports the New York Post. The the assailant was arrested and charged with assault.

• Jeffrey Jeune, a 19-year-old from East 19th Street, died after being stabbed in the torso at the Parade Ground on Sunday, July 8. No arrests have been made.

A bank was robbed by a man police say robbed two others recently. The most recent was on Flatbush at Duryea on Friday, July 7.

Connecticut Muffin was burglarized on Monday, July 2 at about 2am. The suspect got away with money from two cash registers.
