The Brooklyn healthcare and hospital system is constantly evolving, especially with the hospital closures, bankruptcies, sales and clinic openings of recent years. Tonight,from 6-8pm, health industry stakeholders and business folk — and beneficiaries like you and I — are gathering at St. Joseph’s College’s Hill Center (212 Vanderbilt Avenue) for Health Happening, the annual networking event for people to “address the needs of businesses and promote programs that can help improve the health of residents.

“Health care is one of the largest and most significant industries in Brooklyn, and it will only expand as our borough continues to flourish,” said Carlo A. Scissura, President & CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

“Health care is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy, and SJC has a tradition of excellence in preparing students for careers in the industry,” said Dr. Jill Rehmann, interim executive dean at St. Joseph’s Brooklyn campus.
