Brooklyn Best Bikes On 18th Avenue Closed, Set To Be New Home Of ALM Fireplaces

We’re not quite sure when Brooklyn Best Bikes closed its doors at 8717 18th Avenue, but it appears to have been relatively recently.

The motorcycle shop (also known as Brooklyn’s Baddest Bikes) had some nice reviews from Google users, but the store is now giving way to ALM Fireplaces & B-B-Qs. Renovation plans were filed with the Department of Buildings earlier this month, and on Friday they were approved to begin work overhauling the inside.

ALM is hardly a newcomer to the neighborhood. The company owns two storefronts just across the street – one for ALM Plumbing & Heating Supplies, and the other for ALM Fireplaces & Accessories. It looks like this will be a new showroom for their barbecue items.

Good luck to the owners of Brooklyn Best Bikes on their future ventures, and to ALM with the expansion!
