Brooklyn ARTery Begins Offering DIY Classes
The newly opened Brooklyn ARTery Gift Shop will begin offering $35 DIY classes this weekend and through December at 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for each class.
• December 2nd – DIY oatmeal soap bars. Students will learn to make cold-process soap at home “just like the luxury soaps that sell for $6 a bar and more” including info on colors, scents and little positive additions to improve the bar.
• December 9th – DIY lip balm and massage bar. Students here will make “skin-soothing solid lotions” with a variety of flavors and scents.
• December 16th – DIY pickles and mustard. Learn the ins and outs of pickles and mustard and take away hand-made batch of each.
