B/Q/F Line Subway Service Advisories: 8/20-8/24

It’s another Monday and another set of subway service change announcements. Commuters who use these lines may wish to reference this post during the week. The changes for both lines are as follows:

B LINE:

There are no planned service changes on the B line for this week.

Q LINE:

From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, August 20 to August 23, there is no Q service between 57th Street – 7th Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard. Take the N instead. Q service operates normally between  57th Street – 7th Avenue and Stillwell Avenue.

NIGHTS

From 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday to Friday, August 22 to August 24, Manhattan-bound Q trains run via the R from DeKalb Avenue to Canal Street. Allow additional travel time.

From 11:00 p.m. on Monday to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, and during the same time period from Wednesday into Thursday, Coney Island-bound Q service runs express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway.

From 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, and during the same time period Thursday into Friday, Manhattan-bound Q service runs express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.

Q line service changes affect one or more ADA accessible stations. Call 511 if you need any help planning your trip. Also, if you are deaf or hard of hearing, use your preferred relay service provider or the free 711 relay. For further information, go to mta.info and read station signs.

F LINE:

From 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday morning and Friday morning, Coney Island-bound F trains run via the A line from West 4th Street to Jay Street – MetroTech.

For service to Broadway – Lafayette Street, transfer to the D at West 4th Street.

For service to 2nd Avenue, Delancey Street, East Broadway and York Street, take the F to Jay Street – MetroTech and tranfer to a Manhattan-bound A or F. For service from these stations, take the A or F to West 4th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
