B/Q Train Subway Service Advisories: 12/17 – 12/21
It’s another week, and another batch of subway service advisories to make your commute all that much more stressful.
Here’s the easy one: on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 18 and 19, Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway. However, that’s only from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., steering clear of rush hour commuters.
More frustrating for late night travelers, however, will be the Q service adjustments that continue this week.
From Monday to Friday, December 17 to 21, late night Q service will operate in two sections, with our neck of the woods getting service every 30 minutes. The changes will be in effect from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night.
Service operates in two sections:
- Between 57 St-7 Av and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr
- Between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Stillwell Av
You’ll have to transfer at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to continue your trip. Here’s the schedule, according to the MTA:
