Boardwalk Empire To Film Over Several Days

It’s going to be a busy week for film shoots — and lack of parking — along 7th Avenue. Boardwalk Empire will follow Gotham as the two productions film back to back this week, and the beginning of next.

The HBO series, starring Brooklyn’s own Steve Buscemi, is no stranger to Park Slope, having filmed here numerous times so far during its first four seasons. It’s entering its fifth, and final, season when it starts back up on September 7, so look out for area cameos as the show wraps up.

We spotted signs along 7th Avenue between President Street to Garfield Place, and they note three filming dates: Thursday, July 31 to Friday, August 1, and Monday, August 4. The weekend will be free, apparently, but you’ll have to move cars wherever you see these signs by Wednesday, July 30 at 10pm, then on Sunday, August 3 at 10pm
