BIG Holds Its 23rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive For Disadvantaged Children

The 23rd Annual Bay Improvement Group (BIG) Celebrity Caroling Toy Drive, featuring Vanilla Fudge lead guitarist Vince Martell, Colorado recording artist Peg Pearl, Steam’s Greg Bravo (famed for “Na Na Na Na, Goodbye”) and more will be held this Sunday, December 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Baron DeKalb Knights of Columbus, 3000 Emmons Avenue.

Admission is free with your donation of a new unwrapped toy, which will go toward brightening up the Christmas of a less fortunate child.

  1. Thanks for helping BIG get the word out about this annual event, Ned. Vince Martell really is a legend and a super nice guy. Here he is on Jimmy Fallon Live with Vanilla Fudge. You don’t have to be a baby boomer to appreciate his talent! We look forward to seeing friends again at this event, sharing some refreshments, and singing along to this great music (and holiday carols, too)!

  2. Thanks Ned and everyone!The toys can be dropped off right at the Knights of Columbus-Baron Dekalb, 3000 Emmons Ave at Nostrand Ave.
    10 am to 10 pm please drop toys in the main office.
    Invite everyone friends, co-workers, neighbors to come sing along and have some coffee & Dunkin Donuts, 🙂 Free Admission with one or more NEW UNWRAPPED toy(s). An honor to have worked with all the great volunteers and performers giving their time and some traveling far for this special FREE Celebrity Concert event.
