Bensonhurst Cyclist Fatally Struck By Truck On Avenue U
A 54-year-old cyclist from Bensonhurst was struck and killed by a Ryder truck on Avenue U in Gravesend yesterday, reports the New York Post.
Reng Ma Can was biking on Avenue U near East 9 Street in Gravesend around 5 p.m. when the truck rammed into him, police said. The driver did not remain on the scene.
Can died at Kings County Hospital, according to authorities. Police are still investigating incident and searching for the driver of the truck. As of Wednesday, no arrests have been made.
