Car Smashes Into Bed-Stuy Café, Injuring 4
BED-STUY – A car smashed through a café storefront this morning, injuring patrons and sending three people to the hospital.
The accident occurred around 8:30 this morning, when the silver Dodge struck the storefront of the Civil Service Café, located at 279 Nostrand and Clifton Place in Bed-Stuy.
FDNY responded to the scene, where two victims with serious injuries were transported to Methodist Hospital, while a victim with minor injuries was transported to Brooklyn Hospital. A fourth victim refused medical attention at the scene.
So far, there’s little information as to what caused the crash, though an investigation is underway from the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
