Beauty Shop Burglar Wanted By NYPD in Crown Heights
CROWN HEIGHTS – Police are looking for the man who burglarized a Franklin Avenue beauty shop and nail salon last week.
Video footage from around 4:30 am shows a man climbing through the rear window of Sheer Madness at 785 Franklin Avenue, police said. It is unclear whether it was a forced entry or the window was left open.
Inside the shop, the man stole about $1,800 from a box under the register before fleeing to parts unknown, police said. Surveillance video of the incident can be seen below:
Police describe the suspect as a black man, 40-50 years of age, about 5’7″ and 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and jeans, with a gray cap and work boots.
