Be Advised: B & Q Service Suspended South Of Kings Highway Due To Fallen Tree [Updated]

Attention straphangers: The MTA is reporting that southbound B & Q service has been suspended after of Kings Highway due to a fallen tree.

A spokesperson for the MTA said the tree fell across the tracks south of the Sheepshead Bay station at 10:38am. All trains are being held up while maintenance crews work to remove the tree. The spokesperson said no one was injured when the tree tipped over.

There is currently no timeline for when service is expected to be restored, the spokesperson said.

Some southbound Q trains are running on the N line from DeKalb Avenue to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
