Bay Ridge Dems Host Holiday Party And Food Drive Tomorrow
Would you like to enjoy cocktails and free hors d’oeuvres while helping out Bensonhurst’s less fortunate?
The Bay Ridge Democrats are hosting a holiday party and food drive tomorrow night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Long Bow Pub & Pantry (7316 3rd Avenue), which is coincidentally New York City’s only Welsh pub.
Anyone who brings a canned or non-perishable food item such as soup, beans, canned tuna, cereal, canned tomatoes, canned veggies/fruit, peanut butter and boxes of pasta is eligible for a free prize.
All donated food will go to the Reaching-Out Community Services food pantry (7708 New Utrecht Avenue).
Some important local pols may be stopping by, so make sure to look professional and bring your A-game (i.e. don’t get too drunk) if you’re looking to schmooze.
The Long Bow Pub & Pantry is located at 7316 3rd Avenue between 73rd Street and 74th Street in Bay Ridge.
