Arrest Made After Slaying Of East Flatbush Resident

EAST FLATBUSH – Police have made an arrest following the shooting death of an East Flatbush man earlier this month.

Just after 7:00 am on Sunday, December 10, police responded to a call of a man shot on Glenwood Road, near Brooklyn Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a resident, with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, said police. Responding EMS transported Rutland to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

After investigating the incident, police have arrested 29-year old Kamer Reid, of East New York, in connection with this shooting death. Police said Reid has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
