Are You a Real New Yorker?
Today Time Out New York asks several New Yorkers what makes them a “true” New Yorker, including our own Ben Smith of BuzzFeed. Though he grew up in NYC, he says, “I didn’t really feel like I was fully part of the city until I started raising my kids in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, which is a small town where everyone knows your name.”
Isn’t that why we all love it here, because you can’t make it down the street without bumping into someone you know on the corner?
