Annual Bird Sale to Go Online

The annual Bird sample sale: once a year, the prices at the store that seems to top every best-of-Brooklyn shopping list drop to the point where I’d almost consider buying something. And this year, happening online.
According to fashion site RackedNY, the “Brooklyn mini-chain has added an e-commerce component to their seasonal blowout, meaning you’ll be able to browse a selection of brands like Isabel Marant, Suno, and 3.1 Philip Lim from the comfort of your own couch.” You can’t try anything on, of course, but on the plus side: no lines! no crowds! From the comfort of your own couch!
Not that thrill-seekers can’t also shop in-person: as always, Bird Park Slope (216 5th Ave) will host the IRL half of the sale. Racked notes that you’ve got almost a full month to plot your strategy — the sale’s August 24th to August 26th.
