The multi-faceted arts organization and publishing company, e-flux, will be serving up dinner instead of emails with their new restaurant coming to Clinton Hill. They’re still getting things in place before opening up at 224 Greene Avenue where they recently applied to Community Board #2 for a liquor license.

“The idea is that hopefully you will be able to get really good-quality food,” Anton Vidokle, e-flux’s founder told Artnews. “And after 5 or 6 p.m. it will start serving liquor.”

The aim of the new café, said Vidokle, who lives in the neighborhood, is to serve both the local community and art types in New York. There will also be a programming component. “I think it will be a very good place for book launches, and all sorts of journal launches and things like that,” Vidokle said, also mentioning poetry readings and film and video screenings.

We’ll update you as news comes in about the opening.
