When we first got tipped off about Domino’s Pizza moving from its current 900 Coney Island Avenue location to the former Irwin & Sons Dry Cleaners space at 1216 Cortelyou Road, a representative for the company said the store was expected to open for business in mid-February.

After several weeks of stalled construction with its gates pulled down, however, the facade is looking more like, well, a Domino’s. The storefront is now drywalled and tiled, but it looks like the counter, seating, and several appliances still need to be installed.

A worker on site today said the delay had been caused by “a problem with the city,” but that the space should be up and running in April, and that Domino’s is looking for staff for the location. If you’d like to apply, you may do so online.
