Subways: R Train at 25th Stret


This week, if you’ll be riding the D or the N late at night, you’ll want to watch out for some skipped local stops, plus the G continues its service issues involving the tunnel repair. Details on those and other subway changes this week from the MTA:

Manhattan-bound D and N trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St, Union St, and DeKalb Av
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Wednesday to Friday, August 20-22
For service to 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St, and Union St, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36 St and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N. To DeKalb Av, transfer to 2 the 4 or at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr for service to nearby Nevins St. For service from DeKalb, take the D, N, or Q to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N.

No G trains between Nassau Av and Court Sq
All times until 5am Tuesday, September 2
G service operates between Church Av and Nassau Av. Manhattan Av shuttle buses run between Nassau Av and Court Sq, stopping at Greenpoint Av and 21 St. McGuinness Blvd shuttle buses run between the Lorimer St L stop and Court Sq, stopping near G stations at Nassau Av, Greenpoint Av, and 21 St. See the full details here.

No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, August 19-22
R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Additionally, look out for changes further along the D and F lines.
