Bear has the loyalty of a chow chow and the friendliness of a Lab. This 3-year-old love is completely housebroken, not even one mistake has been made since living with his fosters. He’s as smart as a whip and has caught on to his training sessions very well. He is still reactive towards other dogs (but he is working on it!) and would do best in a home without children, but otherwise, he’s a dream. Bear takes turns snuggling up next to his foster mom and dad for hours. Bear was very anxious at the rescue, but he’s already started learning that the outside world is a safe place.
You can arrange to meet Bear at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter, located at 153 East 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — closest to the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm.
