Accident On CIA & Church Forces Traffic To Wrong Side Of Street
A car crashed head-on into a school bus on the southwest corner of Coney Island and Church Avenues at 3:05pm this afternoon. No children were on the bus, and no injuries are reported. As of 3:35pm, police have not responded to the accident, which is causing congestion and safety issues at the intersection.
A witness on the scene says the driver of the grey car was cut off by a truck driver, which he swerved to avoid and collided with the school bus instead. The truck driver kept going.
