A Robbery, Break-In and Biting: Recent Crimes in the Area

Above is the most recent CompStat report from the 70th Precinct, which covers the week of 10/8 through 10/14/12. Some incidents that have been reported around our area:

• On October 16 a car was broken into near East 16th Street and Ditmas Avenue and had $800 worth of property stolen, reports Patch.

• Police arrested a 48-year-old woman who they say beat and bit a man on Westminster Road on October 21, according to the Brooklyn Daily.

• A female neighbor escaped an attack on Westminster between Beverley and Cortelyou at about 1am on October 22.

• A Caton Avenue apartment was robbed on October 22, reports the Brooklyn Daily. When the victim attempted to stop the suspect, the man threatened the victim with a knife before leaving with a laptop.
