The good news: there was a decrease in all but one major crime category during the week before Thanksgiving, leaving us with a drop overall, as well (14 compared to 19 from the previous week).

That one category that saw an uptick was felony assaults, from 2 to 3 incidents.

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, December 2, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, December 15 at 7pm, location TBD.

CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
