66th Precinct Community Council Meeting This Thursday
Come meet the Community Affairs cops and those awarded the Cop of the Month plaque at the 66th Precinct’s monthly Community Council meeting tomorrow, Thursday, December 19 at 7:30pm at the Community Board 12 headquarters, 5910 13th Avenue. Community Council officers, Borough Park Shomrim, elected officials, and representatives from the Brooklyn DA’s office are often in the house.
The November Cops of the Month, pictured above, were Officer Steven Singh, right, and Sgt. Joe Chen, on left, leaning in. They chased and caught two perps from the eight robberies that occurred on October 15, three in the 66th Precinct. They reportedly spied a car that matched a description of the suspects’ vehicle just before their tour ended.
At tomorrow’s meeting, Commander Michael Deddo will give you the inside scoop as he reviews the month’s highlights: whether community events, CompStat figures, or the real deal on crime and mayhem. Now’s the chance to kvetch, or tell him what’s happening on your block.
