4th Avenue’s Supercollider Bar Nearing Completion

Neighbor Kasey Freer sent word that the boards have come off the old Alto’s Pub space at 609 4th Avenue, so we dropped by this morning to check it out.

The new bar, Supercollider, has definitely made some significant progress, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it open within the next month or so. The bar was up, lights were hanging from the ceiling, and most of the construction equipment was gone.

It will be interesting to see how Supercollider fares, but it’s definitely not a bad spot, considering it’s only about a block away from the Prospect Ave R stop. We’ll keep an eye out, and let you know when they’re officially ready to start slinging drinks.
