A vacant Boro Park corner lot is being transformed into a three-story, 3,792-square-foot commercial and community facility, according to permits filed with the Department of Buildings earlier this month.

According to the application, the three floors will split their square footage equally between commercial and community space.

The application lists Samuel Erlich of Brooklyn-based USA Prince Properties LLC as the owner and upstate-based business Thomas Kenneth P.E. as the applicant.

Tax photos show that the lot was previously used as a “Wheels To Lease” car rental and auto sale facility. Temporary signage along the perimeter shows that the property is still used parttime as a Sukkah Depot.

The application comes alongside a slew of recent development in the area, including requests for permits to construct a synagogue and a school.
