Man Found Dead In Water Near Verrazano Bridge

A dead man was discovered dead in New York Harbor near the Verrazano Bridge this morning.

Police received a call at half past 8 a.m. reporting an unconscious male in the Bensonhurst area. Upon arrival, responding offers discovered an unidentified male unresponsive in the water, near the Verrazano Bridge. The man was transported to Marine Basin Marina where EMS pronounced him dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
