1622 Cortelyou Smoke Shop Reopens Following Renovations
Several weeks back, we noticed the grocery store at 1622 Cortelyou Road (between E 16th and E 17th Streets) was undergoing some changes. At that point, only some interior demolition work seemed to have been completed.
About a week ago the store got a new roll down gate, making it easier to see the inside, but this morning was the first time we’ve seen the store back open. Renovations have taken place from floor to ceiling, and the space is clean and bright.
1622 Cortelyou Smoke Shop carries all the usual snacks and supplies, plus offers sandwiches to order, and, of course, tobacco products. Stop in to see the revamped space for yourself.
